W związku ze zmianami w czasopiśmie dochodzi także do zmiany na stronie internetowej. Dotychczasowy adres strony będzie przekierowywał na domenęhttp://zpionka.pl/ i z czasem znikną na niej informacje dotyczące czasopisma. Niemniej jednak strona będzie cały czas funkcjonować, zwłaszcza zaś podczas relacji zPionka - a najbliższa zacznie się już za tydzień podczas turnieju Tata Steel Chess, czyli dawnego Corusa, czyli dawnego Wijk aan Zee :) Przypominam, że w tym turnieju weźmie udział aż dwóch Polaków - arcymistrzowie Radek Wojtaszek i Darek Świercz. 
Kolejnym turniejem, z którego jest spora szansa na relację choćby z części rund będzie opne w Moskwie Moskow Open 2011., w którym będzie brała udział arcymistrzyni Jolanta Zawadzka. 

W moich planach związanych także z pracą magisterską jest stworzenie większej witryny szachowej, ale żadnych konkretnych informacji i terminów póki co podać nie mogę.

World Individual School Chess Championship 2011

29th April to 9th May in Krakow, Poland

The World Individual School Chess Championship 2011 will take place from 29th April to 9th May in Krakow, Poland. This is the 7th Championship organized and the 1st one to be held in Poland. The organization of the Championship was commissioned by the International Chess Federation (FIDE) to the Malopolska Chess Association.

The Championship will be played in six categories: for players under 7, 9, 11, 13 ,15, 17 years old. In the previous Championship there were about 350 players from over 30 countries. The expected number of players in the next year competition is about 400 and about 150 accompanying persons.

From September 2010 to April 2011 there is a series of chess events advertising Championship among pupils from all kinds of schools. This series of events includes: individual junior tournaments, the school team competition "Way to the Victory", a simultaneous chess competition with well known players, competitions in solving chess quizzes, tournaments in big shopping malls.

In addition, Chess Rooks are being deployed at strategic points all around Krakow to celebrate the 2011 World School Chess Championship and the 2011 FIDE Congress which will be held in the city. By April there will be over 100 Chess Rooks in place. The exhibition extends until the82nd FIDE Congress, which is scheduled for 15-22nd October 2011.
